They love you in the only way that they know how - flawed or as good as it may be. Every person has a different way of loving. Dictionary definitions of the word love does not have any correlation to how we actually love each other. "Love" is so deep (generally idealized) and there are as many variations as there are people in the world that in reality, there can be no definition of what it actually is. A definition of a word is just an agreement on how we use the word. In the case of love - well - we just all love differently.
